more about me...

If you’re new here, I’m Kaitlin - lover of all things chocolate, definite dog person, and part time sales rep for Something Blue Journal. Just like my sign suggests, (sagittarius), I’m a free spirit with a love for adventure and the memories that come with them. When I'm not working for the magazine or at a photo session, you can find me in bed daydreaming about my next spontaneous getaway (Disney World will always be my first choice)!

My love for photography actually started at a UIL band competition back in 2011. On our lunch break, two friends of mine were sitting together and the moment was too picturesque to pass up. I pulled out my phone, applied a black and white Instagram filter to the photo, and BAM- it became their favorite picture together. After that, I took pictures of everyone and everything- artsy shots of TOMS (yeah, the shoes), necklaces, my friends in the car, and of course myself.

Eventually, the band kid life took over and free time was a rarity. I still took my camera with me everywhere I went, but that kind of creativity took the backseat to band and school work.

In 2018 I rediscovered my passion for capturing special moments for people that couldn't be taken away. Over the past 2 years, I’ve completely fallen in love with creating, photographing, and telling the authentic stories of families, high school seniors, fellow brand owners, and couples at every stage in their relationship.

DFW portrait photographer capturing authentic memories for the fun and free-spirited.

I've had some pretty cool experiences along the way...

"We hired Kaitlin to do my senior pictures and had to get them done relatively quickly as senior year was ending in a matter of days. She actually worked us into her schedule within the next week and all went well. The day was beautiful and Kaitlin did an amazing job. She’s very relaxed, but professional and made me feel very at ease. She sent us the fully edited pictures two days after she took them. The pictures were all so incredible, we had a hard time deciding which ones were our favorites!"
